Svět Publishing House specializes primarily in the artistic, philosophical and spiritual legacy of the important Czech photographer, painter and mystic Master František Drtikol (1883-1961). In a separate edition bearing his name, which is being prepared by Stanislav Doležal, we are gradually processing and publishing authentic textual and pictorial materials from Drtikol's archive in as authentic a form as possible.
The aim is to make these sources available to researchers and the general public as basic and reliable material for understanding this world-renowned Czech artist. The publishing house Svět was founded in 2001. In addition to the prestigious Drtikol edition, its programme also includes the Svět edition and the Comenia Script edition (a series of typefaces for teaching writing).
