The publication "Conversations on Handwriting" revives the topic of handwritten script, the basic graphic expression of every human being. The main theme of the publication is handwritten script and calligraphy today. It is both an in-depth probe and an exploration into the field of handwritten script, where the aim was to find out what role the school writing pattern has in everyday life and what the position of calligraphy as a field of art is today in our "computer" age. The basis of the book consists of interviews with twenty-four personalities of Czech typography and graphic design with examples of their handwriting and work (Josef Týfa, Jan Solpera, Clara Istlerová, František Štorm, Aleš Najbrt, Robert V. The book is intended for anyone interested in visual culture and can also be a suitable study material for students of type and graphic design. Awarded in the competition The Most Beautiful Czech Books of 2007.
