Second, expanded and revised edition of the book "František Drtikol - Spiritual Journey 1". The publication is an essence of thoughts, interviews and important testimonies, mapping the most essential part of Drtikol's life as a thinker. It also touches in a significant way on his mystical photographic work, dating between 1930 and 1935, both textually and pictorially. This is all enhanced by the pictorial section devoted to Drtikol's spiritual painting from 1931-1948, thus depicting its onset and culmination after 1935, when he completely abandoned photography as the main means of his artistic expression. As early as the 1920s, Drtikol practiced yoga exercises based on Tibetan Buddhism. Thanks to his experience and the knowledge he gained, he later became an important teacher and a sought-after Master.
The book is an editorial continuation of two earlier publications of authentic and mostly intact texts, "Diaries and Letters from 1914-1918 Dedicated to Eliška Janská" (2001) and "Eyes Wide Open" (2002).
Printed on Garda Pat 13 Kiara FSC Mix Credit paper with frequency modulated raster Satin Screening.
